Oregon ~ Homelessness
I have heard that. Just in a the small county I'm in there are almost 500 homeless high school kids. Oregon is very gay friendly, pet friendly, 420 friendly... maybe we should look more into homeless friendly. |

And I figured Florida would be worst at poll counts and voting decisions.....go figure..

Go arson! The bad part is, that's still better than just about every other state! However, in defense of PA, most of those arsons are at the hands of fireman and likely just to stay warm during the winter.....

and what's up with washington?! ![]() I dunno, but that's kind of creepy. After this report, I am sure FEMA will be popping up all over Washington State. I would have thought Suicide for Washington myself considering how much it rains. |

Well, my state, Maine (which I still consider my state even though I don't live there any more) is criticized as "dumbest" based on SAT scores. But looking into where that came from, there's a serious question as to how the statistics were arrived at and whether they're valid. So that doesn't give me a lot of confidence in the stats for the other states, either. To me this is just someone's idea of a way to insult everybody at once with no repercussions. Bleah.

Awww, some of the states have such innocent vices, its cute. Like 'dumbest' or 'nerdiest' or 'ugliest'. Nothing wrong with that!
My state has serious air quality issues, but they have also been leading the nation in air quality improvements. (Or maybe just the rate of slow down in degradation? I forget. There is some way in which CA's CARB board made solid improvement...) |

Nevada foreclosure rate is largely because of people who came from California to take advantage of prices that were comparatively much lower than in California
and then their mortgages changed on them or they lost their jobs,,etc,,,and they couldnt pay their mortgage as to violent crime, I wouldnt be surprised to see its pretty consistent with rates of alcoholism AND homelessness(desperation and anger) ..alot of booze in this town,,,and alot of angry and disgruntled people too |
