I just don't see anyone other than Romney contending for the nomination and Obama has been consistently outpolling Romney in general election polls even when Obama was at his worst public opinion ratings... If anyone else runs they will take more votes from Romney and Obama's approval ratings are rising while Congress approval ratings are 1/3 of Obama's and just keep going down. So I think that Mitt looks like a losing proposition although he is the only candidate that even comes close to putting up a contest. 
Obama's rating is at 46%, that does not guarantee him re election....he needs 50 or above for that to happen...Also how that 46 breaks is more important...His party identification ratings show 83% Dems....41% Independents...and 10% Republican...Party identification "difference" is compelling Slow...W/O winning over the majority of Independents, Obama is not a shoe in....I think job growth will play the biggest contributing factor in Obama's chances this year..... What is telling is that 10% of Republicans actually are voting for him!

Obama's approval rating right now is at 22%, and those that strongly disapprove at 39%, leaving a middle ground of approximately, 39%.....If an independent did presumably run, and it was a good one....The possibility of an Independent President right now is higher than at any other time in US history. those ratings mean little , they can be manipulated by using standards such as 'strongly approve',, 'somewhat approve' I dont think many people 'strongly' approve of any of the candidates at this point, when we still have 9 more months where anything can happen we wont know till the votes are in,,,, |

I am not defending congress...their actions leave much to be desired...What I am trying to do is put it all into context....To do that, you have to look at the whole three years of this administration, especially the first year...You have to remember (correctly) things like Libya.... foreign policy....Israel...As I said, the parties are split like never before....Even if people don't want to look at the whole pic, they at least should be willing to admit that the President of the United States of America is responsible for uniting, not dividing...The buck stop with Obama..... The MORE that This Country and Its people CUT the abilities of the Government to do and provide for its people THEIR BEST COMFORTS.
The MORE we open the doors to cut-backs in OVER-SIGHT,,THAT NEEDS TO BE MORE...Like Our FDA...food products being shipped into this country,,its testing being performed to make sure its safe. Products mis-labeling which needs to be monitored.. Inspections by qualified inspectors in all the FOOD KITCHENS that feed its public there.. Drugs being released that SHOULDN'T BE.. Drugs being prescribed that INTER-REACT with each other,,that no-one caught.. Medical Institutions over charging US and the Governments Medicare Programs,,repeatedly,,and going UN-changed,,because they don't have the people to over-see it all,, Investment companies stealing our monies,,and us not having a TRUE 100 PERCENT way of determine their honest or thieves until we have lost fortunes,we can't get back.. Wall Street Investments,,NEED HONEST OVER-SIGHT COMMITTEE'S to KEEP THEM HONEST.. And WE ARE SCREAMING CUT BACKS,,so MORE OF ALL OF THIS WILL CONTINUE TO GET WORSE.. I say IF this NATION NEEDS MORE,,TAKE MORE,,But DO THIS IN COMPLETE VISIBILITY,,and IN ALL OF ITS SMALL PRINT.. WE LIVE IN THIS COUNTRY,,and WE NEED ALSO TO INVEST IN ITS GROWTH AND NEEDS.. We can't KEEP cutting Government funds and State funds and BELIEVE,,we are HELPING THIS COUNTRY BE BETTER! We lose GOOD TEACHERS NOW,,as they turn away from WANTING TO BE ONE,,because of its SMALL earnings,,, WE CAN'T keep consolidation SCHOOL DISTRICTS into ONE,,and placing 70 students to each class room,,then COMPLAIN about our children NOT receiving the BEST EDUCATIONS THEY CAN HAVE.. And or WHY,,their failing testing goals with low scores,, In EVERY BRANCH of GOVERNMENT MONIES BEING GIVEN OUT,, YOU WILL FIND,,(IF AUDITED) THAT "THERE" IS WHERE THE CORRUPTIONS START AND WE WRONGLY FEED IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.. AS EACH ONE OF THEM,,HAVE TWINKLE DOWN LOSSES TO ALL WHO KNOW THEY CAN TAKE AND THEY DO,,A little here,,a little there,,and ITS MIS-USED,,From State Monies to School Monies to Highway and Road funds,,to every branch the Government has in its PAY-OUTS DAILY,WEEKLY,,MONTHLY and ANNUALLY... I SAY,,INSTEAD OF SCREAMING NO MORE MONIES GIVEN AND CUT PROGRAMS. LETS HAVE A COMPLETE HOUSE CLEANING AND OVER-ALL LOOK INTO EVEN THE SMALLEST PAID OUT MONIES,,AND TRACK,,REAL TRACKING OF WHAT THE MONIES WERE USED FOR AND TO AND WHO? Couple of thoughts...the 10% is lowest in history....REASON: The parties have never been more divided....RASON: Obama, more than any other president, has sidestepped Congress and called his own shots...Just because he is now trying to turn that to his advantage, ie financial institution accountability, does not mean he is not a far left socialist with dreams of becoming a dictator....Yes, the point is being driven by congress, but we must not forget the reason...You bet it's a mess...It's a mess because America will never become socialist...THANK YOU GUD.... two sides to every story one is maybe obama sidesteps congress 'more than any other president' ( a hard statement to prove, but we wont go there) the other is that congress has fought and obstructed the presideent more than any other congress (equally hard to prove, but just as reasonable a possibility, especially with the public STATEMENTS congressmen have made saying thats their job priority) I am not defending congress...their actions leave much to be desired...What I am trying to do is put it all into context....To do that, you have to look at the whole three years of this administration, especially the first year...You have to remember (correctly) things like Libya.... foreign policy....Israel...As I said, the parties are split like never before....Even if people don't want to look at the whole pic, they at least should be willing to admit that the President of the United States of America is responsible for uniting, not dividing...The buck stop with Obama..... I just dont place responsibility for 'dividing' upon the president any more or less than I do the congress and Im not sure I Believe we are any more 'divided' than at any other time, we just have found new issues and people to be 'divided' about |

Obama's approval rating right now is at 22%, and those that strongly disapprove at 39%, leaving a middle ground of approximately, 39%.....If an independent did presumably run, and it was a good one....The possibility of an Independent President right now is higher than at any other time in US history. those ratings mean little , they can be manipulated by using standards such as 'strongly approve',, 'somewhat approve' I dont think many people 'strongly' approve of any of the candidates at this point, when we still have 9 more months where anything can happen we wont know till the votes are in,,,, Barack Hussein "I can't be bothered right now because I'm on vacation" Obama is going down like a DC-10 not sure where that quote is from my mom was not a president and she had 'working' vacations when we spent time as a family and she still got things done for her job too,,, in this highly tech savy multi tasking world,, Im still surprised so many dont grasp the concept,,, Our country is almost in ruin, we have had natural disasters as well as man made disasters and he didn't seem to think these were important enough for him to be on location to address the issues. He spent a total of almost 10 minutes in Texas after the BP cluster **** and I don't remember him even going to Joplin after the tornadoes. Just because we have technology doesn't mean you don't have to spend time on the ground. why is it a priority for him to be 'at the site' the day after or three days after,,,what possible significant difference could there be that only his immediate on site presence could handle there is video feed, there are pictures, there are experts consulting,,,,what is his physical presence necessary for,,, |
