Topic: "duh-du-duh" moments

Some of you have heard me refer to myself as computer stupid and today was just another example of a "duh-du-duh" moment. I have been trying to use Netflix on my NookColor for about six weeks with no luck. I decided that today I would call Netflix and see if they could help me.... a very nice lady answered the call and I explained what was happening, she asked what was coming up on the screen, so I told her...and her answer was polite, "oh honey...Netflix is an app on Nook, you have to download the app".......(yeah....I knew that.... ) Make me feel better.....let me know if you have had any 'duh-du-duh' moments lately and what were they.

That's not what I was talking about... I meant something that has you all confused until someone points it out to you....like when you are looking all over for your cellphone, meanwhile you tell the person on the phone you have to hang up so you can look for it.

Some years back, a guy I knew asked me if I could take a look at his phone while he went to work. He was having some kind of problem with it. So I ended up fixing the problem. Then I grabbed my phone to call him and tell him it was fixed.

I have those dum computer momments all the time and i fear to ask any one for help because i dont want to look like such a dummy lol.Its like when i'm looking every where for my glasses and there on top of my head lol.

I really need a new pair of glasses because my eyes have changed, so I take them off for close up work. When I pick my head up to look across the room I try to push them up my nose and wind up poking myself in between the eyes.

I went to the store today to buy a pack of smokes, NOTHING ELSE.. bought em, left em on the counter and got all the way home and realized I didn't have em. duh du duh

bought my lunch one day last week at the work cafeteria put down my coffee cup to pay picked up my cup & took off without my salad a co worker yelled at me

In the last week I have had a block of cheese, a container of sour creme and a lighter in my freezer..... It's my boy and I and both of us SWEAR... it wasn't me. DOH!

The Duh moment that I repeat is: pouring the water in coffee pot, turning it on. Then coming back in 5 minutes only to find clear water in the coffee pot

Love this thread! Does it count walking out to go to work and getting down the street and realizing I forgot my glasses?...........yep. Setting my clock and getting up for work, having leisurly coffee, getting ready for work and getting there and it's SATURDAY!

i put the milk in the cabinet and the Lucky Charms cereal in the frig after i was done using them.
