And what is just protecting yourself from getting in too deep too soon? If you know from past experience that that is a weakness of yours. If I get a message from a man that I find interesting, but intentionally delay my answer for a day to make sure that my first flush of excitement has worn off, is that playing games? Is it all about the intention? Its fear. There is nothing to be afraid of. Be yourself.

I have always be pretty open and honest with people, men or women. When a man was trying to hit on me, and I was friendly (naturally) rather than guarded (game play) the man would often mistake that to mean that I was going to be easy to pick up. He was not used to talking to a woman person to person without the game. Then he was shocked when he learned otherwise.

If you're doing anything that is not your natural response in order to make them think a certain way about you, you are playing games. or anything to purposely upset or annoy - or manipulate - games that I will not tolerate now krupa's list I can go with this. Anything done to 'get a rise' from the other person is playing games holding off returning a call to make them 'think' something or an other of you is playing games holding off returning a call until you feel more level headed is not,, they have said it all..

If you're doing anything that is not your natural response in order to make them think a certain way about you, you are playing games. or anything to purposely upset or annoy - or manipulate - games that I will not tolerate now krupa's list I can go with this. Anything done to 'get a rise' from the other person is playing games holding off returning a call to make them 'think' something or an other of you is playing games holding off returning a call until you feel more level headed is not,, Oh ya the phones games wasn't that big in the 9th grade? exactly! and since then many 'dating experts' have written books about the 'rules' its annoying,,,

If the person holding off on calling is always that way, always holding back in situations, then perhaps it could be considered not a game. However, if the person is not acting like normally, as they always would, I would say it's a game.

I'd say it was still worth SOMETHING. If i take the abuse out of the equation, then other than that, i think we really did have a strong respect for each other. Felt relief after walking away though.

Okay. Game Playing is when someone is setting you a nice little trap to fall in so they can observe you... It also depends on how malicious and selfish the intention is. So if someone's not being completely open and honest with you mabe its just because they want to see the real you... or mabe they just get a kick out of jerking you around because they're bored and they enjoy watching because they need an egoboost. Or they might be playing games because they just want sex. its really a psychology thing-whoevers smartest comes out the winner, am i right? if i think a guy might be playing a game, sometimes i play back just to see what he does. sometimes i just let it go so i can keep observing. i like to know each guys game...it kinda tells me what maturity level they are really at emotionally.

Strip poker... Naked Twister... Drunk and naked Leap Frog or Duck Duck Goose. That is the right way to play games. True story. I'd define playing head games as somebody who's open and real one minute, then closed off and sophomoric the next. Past can dictate this, more specifically past relationships. or could have some sort of psycholigical condition
