Does the way someone presents themselves online affect the way you think about them? This includes the way they write, spelling/grammar, if they take things very seriously/not seriously at all, get offended easily/offends others often just to name a few.
I make judgments about them yes. I don't pass judgments on them. Wut u mean yo? I think when dey isnt reel dog is wen its like ofensive i be like yo i never dis befoe - aww yea foo. Like this guy above. Hard to tell. I can't stand to read that stuff it hurts my brain. I don't think its "cool" to type a dialect. Some think its funny. Maybe a joke. I don't know. Its just hard to read.

To an extent yes but considering i'm a complete azzhole and jerk,i have lowered my expectations to having sex only with beavers.And yes it's a myth not all women like jerks and azzholes.

Not really. Each individual is intricate, different thoughts on different subjects. I may agree, disagree, or agree to disagree on very different subjects. I do know this, just when I believe someone will disagree with me on an issue, opinion, or thought, they turn right around surprise me and agree. So, therefore prejudging a person on an issue, basically makes me look like an azz. So, I learned my lesson and try not to.

I hope I'm never judged on my posts because it's just not who I am. I try to be witty without ever offending anyone which in this day and age is very difficult! I enjoy reading the posts of many of the Mingle regulars and feel like I know most of you awesome people! The way you portray yourself in your posts is not really who you are? |

I think I know what Jack is saying. Sometimes it is easier to let out a silly side or a flirty side or talented...whatever, when you're on line. It's not that he's pretending to be someone else.
Just like I joke around, flirt a bit, and am silly at times. I am usually a somewhat quieter version in person. I am not a Cougar, and do not flirt around and am professional and knowledgable at work. |

What about the way someone presents themselves online is important to you? What doesn't matter to you? if someone makes comments that seem in anyway veiled as veiled attempts at insults - that does not make a good impression neither do personal attacks and then griping about the person u have attacked acting like a "victim" (well if u mention it - they prolly are  )
so yes, if I see someone who seems to relish in personal attack-type stuff I don't like that whether they are against me or another member otherwise I just feel basically it is what it is and take people on here at face value I tend not to judge or evaluate based on language skills so much and I take the posts lightly (except personal attacks) because we're all just basically BS-ing on here....w/e |
