I predict the outcome of N.H. as Multiple Choice Mitt winning with Santorum and Huntsman coming in second and third. I think Huntsman might be a sleeper candidate here and might win and there's a chance Santorum could as well.

N.H. means as much to me as Iowa or Idaho so I really don't care who has more friends out in force on these nights.

It's the first in the nation primary!

It's electoral votes that matter in the end. NH only has 4 electoral votes. Although pundits like to claim the NH determines the election, that's just a spin on statistics combined with wishful thinking.

I'm not real sure if it was Clinton but one of 'em got called a winner before all the states checked in.
Lots of folks were pi ssed and wanted a recount.

In 2000 CNN called florida for Gore before the panhandle had finished voting. There was 1 hour left because of the time difference.

Huntsman is second in exit polling behind Romney.

Among late deciders, the line-up was slightly different. The exit polls showed 29 percent breaking for Romney, while 24 percent were backing Huntsman and 20 percent were backing Rick Santorum, who finished second in the Iowa caucuses.

Romney aims to notch a commanding victory in the first-in-the-nation primary Tuesday.

Expectations, though, have been raised to unnerving levels for the former Massachusetts governor. The candidate won the leadoff Iowa caucuses by just eight votes -- a back-to-back win in New Hampshire would be a historic achievement, but his competitors nevertheless have said he must win by a considerable margin in order for the victory to count for anything going into South Carolina.

Newt Gingrich has suggested Romney would need to win with 50 percent of the vote, though the polls suggest that is impossible and other analysts have put his ideal percentage at about 37 percent or more.

Romney has led by a wide margin throughout the presidential race in New Hampshire, and the primary has in recent weeks evolved into a hard-fought battle for second place.

Huntsman, the former Utah governor, has seen his poll numbers tick up since Iowa, putting him in contention along with Paul, Santorum and Gingrich.

Rick Perry, however, has fallen to about 1 percent in the New Hampshire polls following his fifth-place finish in Iowa.
