You know, i've heard of the Star Effing Hipsters, but I've never really listened to them.

John Crosby is hands down one of my favorite musicians. I'm in love with everything he does. I've been listening to them for years and years and years myself.

My favorite Fugazi song:
Fugazi - Waiting Room

I'm going to end up going around all day saying.. "I am a patient boy.. I wait I wait I wait.."

Dig the bass! I always imagined heaven with wide, giant mahogany double doors.

Good thing I actually go by the rules of an honor system, because Modest Mouse makes me twitch. Like I think I actually twitch.

Neko Case - Pretty Girls.

I'm taking a guess that twitching is negative response.

It is, it's just as bad as the response my body produces when someone mentions Animal Collective.

I enjoy that last song. I've heard it before.

Ani Difranco - 32 Flavors.

I really want ice cream now. Tribal drums always does that to me.

I have never heard that song either.

I started great and I was getting into it, but at 50 seconds in it started to unravel, but then after listening a second time it started to fit better. I sometimes need multiple listens to dissect a song.

This song has one of the most painful videos ever. But for some reason it is also kind of cool.

I've actually seen worse videos.. and was that song on something? It sounds familiar. I dig it though.

Trampled by Turtles - Wait So Long.

This isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love it.

Thanks, I have a new band(for me) to look into now.

Two-Headed Dog - Roky Erickson

Haha. That's pretty cool. I looked up the history and have to admit that I have soft spot for any artist who is a multiple mental institution escapee and involuntary electroconvulsive treatment test subject.

Sixto Rodriguez - Hate Street Dialogue

One of my favorite songs off of my all-time favorite album.

What?! Are you for serious? I've never met anyone else that's even heard of him.

Can I come over and listen to it? Like, for real.

I've never heard that Dylan song before. I definitely think that was in the phase of his where I'd rather read his work as poems than listen to him. But my favorite Dylan is the bluesy, might-hang-myself-with-the-E-string-after-the-set style.

As Tears Go By - Marianne Faithfull

I've always loved this clip, when she was young and beautiful and hadn't yet gone through the chronic laryngitis that would give her that distinctive sound.

I'm so in love with music, I try to find as much beautiful music, rather it's underrated and obscure or not.

My taste is totally all over the place too.

And sure, you can listen to it.

This band is from here in the city I live in. I've seen them a few times, love love love their music, then one day I was watching TCM. (Turner Classic Movies) and I actually heard it on their montage where they show everyone who has died in the last year. It fit so perfectly I nearly cried.
OK Sweetheart - Before You Go.

I really enjoyed that song.

Oh this just came on my end of day playlist. I seem to be able to really unwind with trip-hop.. and of course ambient stuff.

Kid Loco - Relaxin with Cherry.

Caroline's Spine - Necro.

Well it so much make me think of the song exactly.. but the band.
