Topic: Yes, pit bulls suddenly snap! | |
---|---|
..far too much to read. >.>
So, I'll make this short. I love animals. If there is an argument/debate here. I agree with w/e side Bushido is on. I love Huskies. Plan to get one. I hate squirrels. I swear they are infesting my yard.. Why can't I just shoot a few of them? No one would notice. D: There's a pack of bunnies living under my porch. I volunteer at the local shelter. I walk dogs three times a week. >.> The rottie hates everyone but me. ![]() I named him Cloverfield. (Long story) Only thing I hate about dogs.. They stop to pee at every freakin' tree. And there poop is far too large and toxic. :O I can't stand birds. They never shut up. Cats are cute and adorable to pet; other than that.. boring! Ok, covered my animal related subjects. >.> Now I'll find out what the topic is.. :O |

Really..?
Pittbulls snap? What dog doesn't? A chow-chow will too. Rotties. Huskies. etc. >.> Especially if they are trained to attack.. Especially if they feel threatened.. Especially if they think you are trying to take their food. Heck, I'd snap for all and more than just these reasons. :O |

chihuahuas are worse. Theyre just not big enough to do any real damage. *cringe* That's the only dog I can't stand.. If my kid made me watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua one more time..... |

They look so sweet....it's always made me upset when people unfairly judge these dogs and label them as monsters and killers. It's our fault for breeding them to fight, not theirs. They're misunderstood and misjudged, that's all.
The pictures were so sweet, I found myself smiling nearly as big as the one with the dangerous jaws ^.^ |

I have been around several pitbulls and have not felt endanger at all. Its prolly a bit of a stereo type that they are foaming from the mouth. People make big deals abouyt theings they hear all the time with little or no supporting evidence to the claim. That being said you may not want to piss them off. |

I've had my pit bull 6 yrs now. Never once taught her to fight another dog or attack anything...and she never has...nor never will.
In fact she's actually kinda scared of any dog that barks at her (even in a playful way), and she is the sweetest thing around people, (especially kids). I find it hilarious when people ask me about my dog, and assume she's a beast. Or when my sisters friends are worried about bringing their kids over to the house, or when I try to rent a place & I have to lie to the property manager about the breed. Hahahaha!!!! Gimmee a freakin break... |

Of all the "bitey" dogs I know.....black labs do the most damage. I got a really good scar on my left ankle to back up that statement.
Chihuahua's and dachsunds and yorkies don't count. All of the pit's I have ever met are really social and loving dogs. I could be wrong but, that is the truth as I know it. |

Dogs do what they are trained to do. Vets are generally more leery of smaller dogs like the chihuahua.

Loved the article. Almost didn't read because of the title. I have a Staffordshire Terrier named Iggy, smaller cousin of the Pitt, and he is the spitting image of this article. Silly as all hell and very affectionate. He's the best dog I've ever known. He's also my service dog. People don't understand the Bully breeds or service dogs, so I get a double whammy when we're out. You're not supposed to pet service dogs but because of his breed I do. I sign to him for basic obedience and show people how to sign to him. They love it! He's an ambassador and a credit to his breed.
