I asked the same thing a few years ago..my sister-in-law who is very religious even told God...Alright enough is enough!
It does get better after a time, just keep the faith. A brighter day will happen...

I agree with your sister-in-law. Since April I have been telling God, thanks for the lessions, now cut it out, I am as strong as I need to be. Apparently he doesn't listen to me.

I know I haven't really talked to you, but I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm not sure the person who decided to say it can't get any worse, because usually when you think you're at the bottom something else seems to happen yet again.

I just now found this thread...I am also sorry for your loss. With every ill storm though, there has to be a rainbow somewhere afterwards. I truly hope yours shines soon. It will get better.

Calling hours were today and tonight:2-4, 6-8. I just got home from the 2-4 time. I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours. Ricks mom I feel so bad for her. I wish I could have somehow taken away all this pain she is in. The worst part for me was all the family photos ALL around. I couldn't look. Rick was in half of them. I am just numb.

I'm so sorry for you and your loved ones. Gods Blessings. There are no immediate answers. Sometimes it does get harder before life starts to level out. I guess it's finding the compassion, forgiveness and love through all the hurt that helps us get through and find a light at the end of the tunnel.

"A Journey Of Souls...Case Studies" explains what happens after we die. It's a very enlightening book in knowing that everyone's soul on this earth will live on. We will meet them again thoughout many lifetimes until we reach our final destination.

Something was said at the funeral yesterday that I have clung to since a child when my mom died.

God wanted them in heaven. That they were too good for the evil on this earth.

On one hand this does comfort, yet on the other hand God could take away the folks that are evil and send them to where they belong. Less evil on earth so the good ones can stay. I am just saying.

My mind is a wicked thing lately.

You have my deepest sympathy on your loss. You and your family are also in my prayers.

They do have scads of folks looking out for them. Mel was a elementary teacher in 2 of the local school districts. Calling hours were suppose to end at 8, I was told that the last person did not get through the line till after 11pm.

Sorry you are getting hit so hard from so many ways. It doesn't seem like life makes a lot of sense sometimes.

I have wondered if it works out that way sometimes so you can just get it over with together than dragging the suffeing out over several years.

Folks are right you have a right to feel how you do on this stuff. Anger is a normal stage you go through with any loss.

Will try to will you as much strength as you need to get through this.
