GREAT pictures everyone!! Twenty years ago I was newely divorced...so I decided to post the first happiest pictures that I could find. These were taken 19 years ago.
This is the Chalet that was our destination. It is in the hills of TN through the Smokey Mountains. We took the Blue Ridge Parkway for a long portion of it.  Here's my second bike....Honda Shadow 1100  This was the reason for the trip...horses.

That's a sweet bike! OMG I miss riding horses! If I could have my own horse again that would make my year. Takes me back to girl scouts.

Thanks guys. The Chalet was awesome!...with a Jacusi, fireplace...the whole nine yards. The bike ran wonderful Krupa all the way down and back. It probably did better than my Sporty would have...that was an 883. The horse ride was the bomb too riding up and down the mts.

I think I am actually 21 in this pic. That's my mom, the writer with me. The shirt is from City of Hope, a cancer treatment center. i was working at Baxter and memo came on the computer that if you have B+ blood to please get tissue typed at City of Hope because one of our salesmen had cancer and needed platelets. I had already been tissue typed at the Red Cross when they working looking for a bone marrow donor for a little girl. So I got my info from Red Cross and faxed it to City of Hope. I MATCHED! I donate several times for him and they gave me that t-shirt. That picture was taken at Universal Studios. My dad told me to make silly face.

This is me about 16 years ago. I was on a cruise in the Bahamas. The man is a Brazilian dancer who performed the most amazing dance for entertainment aboard the ship. I asked to meet him and get my picture taken with him so I could show it to my family as if I had met this awesome guy on this cruise. Unfortunately he had a girlfriend who was also with him. (Damn) Or I would have helped him get a green card and eloped with him. He was so awesome.  My hair is in corn rows. I had it done on the islands. One dollar per braid.  Ok, ok, but which one is you, and which one is the dancer? Sheesh... I wish people would learn already how to label their pictures properly. |

Some LAPD veterans have had a more dignified future after leaving the force. Some have been known to work their way up to occupy the posh seat of the Minister of Justice in Iran. Ruth, I'll kill you. You have a new picture up. But I can't make out what it shows this time. What is the object that occupies most of the viewing area? I am completely stumped. |
