This sounded so good when I read it and then I started to think about some things like...How do you "just" stay away from a friend without giving an explanation...Do you just leave her hanging or do you lie?....Then there is this.....Where do you put the guilt you feel for not protecting your friend? What happens when her next friend gets hit on by her husband? Which by the way, is like the greatest insult a woman can bear, having her husband hit on her best friend....Finally, when the marriage does explode, and it will, what do you do with your desire to comfort her, your desire to help your friend? How do you re-insert yourself into her life?

Nope, staying away sounds like the right thing to do except it isn't....Honesty is the only way to go....
