I realized something today, that is really important, and profound, so I thought I would share it.
Im not sure why, I want to share this, but I feel like I should.



Since we all know, that, "yesterday is passed, and tomorrow is promised to no-one" (I say it at least once a day if not more),

than of course, every second that we spend on this planet, is profound, and important, and a gift.(We should all ALREADY know that).





But,

For someone like me, who should of died, more than once, and shouldnt really even be here, but I am,

not only is my life a gift,

but really, im on borrowed time.




Every one more second, that im given, is loaned to me, from mercy.



Which would explain why, I feel such an incredible urge, to do something important, with every moment now,

and why I feel,

ESPECIALLY GRATEFUL,

for the safe, unworried, warm, and comfortable, moments even more.




I realized today,

that im on borrowed time,

and I always, pay back, a loan.

But,

I still feel like, I should be doing more.

Like I told you...you ARE here for a purpose. You have a very kind heart and loving nature. You are so quick to offer a kind word or a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to people who need this. Not everyone can do that. You hold life as a precious gift and have helped many others see that. YOU make a difference.

So many of us here...are thankful for that and love you!!!

I can honestly say this. I'm so thankful to have met you, cos you have a very refreshing attitude. You never seem to take life for granted. Illness can do that to you, but maybe you're just like that anyway. :shrug:. Never once have you came across as ungrateful. I think you deserve a whole lot in life. It shines through. I'm not saying this just cos i'm on your friends list. I'd be saying it anyway. I read a post where you were trying to help someone out, and read another where you prayed for several people. You appreciate the simple things about life. If it wasn't for people like you, we'd probably feel less hopeful. I don't understand why you feel you need to give back more. You've been through quite a time with cancer. Give yourself a break. You deserve one. You're really entertaining, too. You owe nothing.

Roberta, there have been so many times when I have been stressed, overwhelmed or sad and I signed on here and opened one of your threads. Before I know it I am laughing so hard that my son has asked what is so funny. You brighten my day without even knowing it and you lift my spirit to go face what is ahead. You are not on borrowed time unless it is your friends here who are borrowing your energy to make it through the day. You are right your life is a gift but not for you but for those of us who are lucky enough to have interacted with you.
