Ron Paul was a hot topic this week on the talk radio show hosted by prominent white supremacist Don Black and his son Derek. Mr. Black said he received Mr. Paul’scontroversial newsletters when they were first published about two decades ago and described how the publications were perceived by members of the white supremacist movement. Former KKK Grand Wizard and Louisiana Congressman David Duke also phoned in to explain why he’s voting for Mr. Paul.

“Everybody, all of us back in the 80s and 90s, felt Ron Paul was, you know, unusual in that he had actually been a Congressman, that he was one of us and now, of course, that he has this broad demographic – broad base of support,” Mr. Black said on his broadcast yesterday.

Mr. Black is a former Klansman and member of the American Nazi Party who founded the “white nationalist” website Stormfront in 1995. He donated to Mr. Paul in 2007 and has been photographed with the candidate. Mr. Paul has vocal supporters in Stormfront’s online forum. Mr. Black has repeatedly said he doesn’t currently think Mr. Paul is a “white nationalist.” [...]

Mr. Duke, who was something of a mentor to Mr. Black during their days in the Klan, called in to discuss Mr. Paul. Though he said he wasn’t ready to make an official endorsement, Mr. Duke explained why he’ll be voting for Mr. Paul.

“Again, I go back to that, you know, traditional topic that I always talk about, you know, the powers of international Zionism – a power in banking, a power in media, a power in government influence, in campaign finance – a power that’s, you know, hurting the values of this country on behalf of Israel,” Mr. Duke said. “So, I would vote for Ron Paul at this moment because he’s one of the few candidates who have policies in this regard and this realm that I wholeheartedly support, and that’s why I’d vote for him.”

An onion is bitter sweet, but many people still use them to flavor a meal.

I can't help but see a comparison here....and it's not between Paul and Duke.....

One time In college I was cast as the lead role in a play. The play so moved one particular person that he decided to write in his news letter about the play and how it changed his life. The play was the crucible, and I was Jon Proctor who died to keep my families name from the taint of being recognized with witches.

This guy was a real piece of work. He praised the play and me specifically and in the next article praised Hitler for his antisemitic cause. He likened the theme of the play to the holocaust, and that the Germans were only working to keep their race clean and would die for the cause in the same way Jon Proctor died. Thoroughly disgusting. Completely Wacko.

So does this mean I am associated with anti Semites?

No. It does not. It really is this kind of sloppy logic and poisoning the well rhetoric that permeates our society and is the real cause of so much of our problems.

Shame should be the only reaction to trying to make this news.

Equal rights for all! Last I heard that covered voting too!

By this posters definition, or insinuation, since 70% of all the goods we use daily come from China, we are all communists!

That solves the election issue!

Some people have no conscience, therefore, no shame.

You have to possess humanity to possess understanding and reason.

Qualities some GREATLY lack!

A man who has shown human compassion and dignity for over 30 years, can back it up by vote, action and deed, as a noted statesman....has NOTHING to prove! It's all been done!

The only reason the Rodney King riots ended when they did is the Blacks needed to get their welfare checks ~ Ron Paul 1990's.

Some people just don't know when the war is lost....

You dwell in the dark regions of obscurity and past tenses.

We are ALL aware of the words, and also that they were NOT written by Paul.... even your beloved Faux Noise admits that!

It doesn't matter if he wrote it, but it was in HIS newsletter that he makes over a million dollars a year publishing with less then 10 employees and if he cant supervise that then he has no business supervising a government with hundreds of thousands of employees.

I'll tell you this, if there was ANY publication going out with my name on it and my name as the editor and publisher I guarantee I would read EVERY part of EVERY issue before it got published and sent out.
