Just need to tell some of you people who just can't help themselves from gossip. You are going to loose the people who made this place so special. You need to have your A** spanked, and I don't mean that in a sexy way either. You are really hurting what Mike and Van have started here and you are also hurting some very special people.

Hey, if you want to turn this into another gossip site "go for it" don't be surprised when some real special and insightful people leave.

I'm very disappointed in you.

Way too much behind the scenes gossip, and rummors going on right now. People won't put up with this for long. I can guarantee, some of the cool people and some of the ones I personally love very much don't need this in their life.

I'll be honest. The only reason I'm even hanging out today is to kill time, until my conference meeting happens in a couple of hours.

I don't want to burst your bubble, but it's common knowledge that where are so many people together gossip does happen. It has to do with being in this clique or support that person. Unfortunately lately it has become a lot worse. I try to stay out of it, and fortunately I have been successful so far.
It is a pity though, it destroys a lot that has been good here on the site. We are adults and should handle things a lot better.

MG....Frankly I'm still bewildered about "all the gossip" thing. I have been coming here for almost a year and not sure what, where and when all this Gossip is taking place...maybe I just choose to ignore rediculous people..so I don't see it. If it is such a problem...then expose it by starting a thread called "The Latest Gossip" and everyone involved in this type of behavior can vent and argue about this or that person and keep it out of the rest of the threads.....just a thought

Hmmmm..I guess Darwin may be right...only the strong survive I'm not completely blind..I see people who have met, dated, didn't work out..blah blah...and people getting down on each other once in awhile...but I just click my mouse and Pooof..I'm out of there on to a new thread..whats the big deal...If people are leaving..let them leave..it's all up to them and how they want to spend their time...why try to control everyones habits just to keep a few people here. there are plenty of forums here that have very stimulating conversations without any gossip...try them out

Myisland, welcome to the site. Don't run, jumpin be real & if there is a problem, you'll be able to find folks to chat with & give you guidance. Tried to mail you, your settings will block alot of people from contacting you. You will have to e-mail anyone outside your settings before they can contact you.
Might open them up to find more friends.

You know when you see so much it can burn any person out, and also make life pretty sad. I would never reveal who the people are who have come to me for help on this topic over the last months. What I would say is that it is sad, that people do this.

People are precious souls, and should never be belittled, and yes this is grade schoolish, and sometimes we need to put this in check.

If this helps even one to think about it, then it will be a brighter day for all.

Redwine, I agree with you. But we men tend to have thicker skin
& can just ignore things that may bother others more. I agree with the request to stop some of the attacks I see in the threads. We can say anything we want WITHOUT the anger showing &/or the attacks that happen.

Opinions can be stated calmly, derogatory remarks are just wrong.
