This is my 42nd year on earth so I am reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy all the way through Mostly Harmless.

I need to read these again. One year for Christmas I got a really nice hardbound edition that includes all the books.

The Lost Messiah by John Freely

Came across a very well researched and fully documented history of the mystery U Boats that Hitler sent out on secret missions during and after the war.
It finally answers all the lingering questions about U 33 and the Royal family and it's trips to Scotland and its penetration of all British anti-submarine defenses to land and pick up some very high officials only recently admitted to in and around the Firth of Clyde.. Some of these people were Max Schiller, Otto Rahn and others and how the flight of Rudolf Hess was involved with MI6. MI6 is now suspected in murdering the Duke of Kent.

I just found one of my old novels that has to be , for me, one of the insane and hilarious novels that I've ever found and will enjoy reading again: "Dwarf Rapes Nun; Flees In UFO" by Arnold Sawislak,1985
a novel about journalism and papers like the Natl. Enquirer ; how they get their headlines and lead stories. Just the title alone is reason enough to get a copy!

"There was a country"~ Chinua Achebe.

A Cuban writer: Leonardo Padura. He writes about this detective " Mario Conde", a nostalgic 33 years old.He also wrote a very interesting novel about the murder of Trotsky. Right now I´m reading "tiempo pasado" the first of the Mario Conde´s novels. I highly recommend all of his books.
