I'm an old fashion kinda guy and when I ask a woman (even my good male friends) out to lunch or dinner, I pay. It has nothing to do with feeling like you owe anything to anyone, it's just a kind offering.

I am pretty good at the dirt cheap date thing.

Every other thursday we have "Artwalk" in our renovated downtown plazas.....everything is free. Art galleries, local history museums, Street musicians, band and dance companies. One act plays in the Center for Contemporary Arts. Plus there are free goodies at pretty much all the galleries...beer, wine, hors de vours, cookies and treats for the kids, doggie treats and kiddie pools for the people who bring thier dogs.

I prefer that kind of date cause it means a leisurely stroll and lots of time to chat and give opinions about the stuff going on. The restored Paramount theatre plays old classic movies from the 40's, 50's and 60's for $2 and occasionaly has Ted Nugent play there.

Plus, there is a gorgeous bar from the 50's that has great mixed drinks.

I can have a great date for under $10 a piece.

We must hang at the same places!!

Obviously, the answer is "the woman".

If I am gonna give up the purity of my virginity, of course the woman should pony up some cash and try to buy my love for it to really be genuine. I shouldn't have to pay to be besmirched.
