Raised a Christian,
in a home of sin.
Daddy's little girl,

No pills for your trauma.
Mom's ears closed to the drama.
A mind so asking and bitter,
Daddy couldn't wait to be your sitter.
Night after night,
you lost your fight.
Giving in to his evil lust.
He broke God's most sacred trust.
Turning abused into amused.
Just to find your mind.
Kept it your secret,
went on with your life.
Always knowing.
The edge of his knife.
Now all grown, living life though.
That bastarrd died, leaving, YOU!
Your smile still lives showing your so true.
So beautiful a woman in the bare moonlight.
Loving you, made everything seem so right.
Until I met that you, I never knew.
So cold, and twisted. The lies you threw.
Drawing me into your dead black heart.
Letting me feel every shattered part.
Leaving me helpless to remain.

I have three children and cannot imagine that loss.
