Topic: How does the President like his Horse? Rare or well done? | |

we adults also know bills are packed with items and details, "Slaughter opponents pushed a measure cutting off funding for horse meat inspections through Congress in 2006 after other efforts to pass outright bans on horse slaughter failed in previous years. Congress lifted the ban in a spending bill President Barack Obama signed into law Nov. 18 to keep the government afloat until mid-December." from http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/30/horse-meat-consumption-us_n_1120623.html take from it what you will,, keeping the government afloat seemed a pretty big priority possibly worth the 'potential' that horses might be eaten,,,,which I doubt will come to light before that is amended by lobbying,,, Seems to me that "cutting spending" would better keep us afloat! The gov't will never stay afloat no matter how much you give them! Congress, and King Barry, are like a 13 year old with dads credit card, and we the people are "dad"! Im sure the bill DID cut spending,, again, its a matter of which things they cut and which they kept,,,, |
