Topic: UFO witnesses are ridiculed | |
---|---|
I just watched a show on the Discovery channel about UFOs and was impressed by what the former Governor of Arizona said 15 years later after having seen the giant UFO himself over Phoenix.
As governor he kept quiet about his own close encounter knowing how much people are routinely ridiculed when they discuss or mention UFO's or aliens. It was not until 15 years after he left the governor's office that he spoke up. Here is my question. Why are media outlets and politicians told to keep quiet about UFOs? **************************** The Phoenix Lights Incident On March 13th 1997, an extraordinary event occurred across the state of Arizona that has become the subject of great debate in the UFO community. Hundreds, and perhaps thousands of witnesses from all walks of life reported seeing a large v-shaped craft, over a mile across with unusual lights, travel slowly and silently by at a very low altitude. Some witnesses who reported being directly underneath it as it passed, said it drifted right over the housetops, so close it seemed "they could almost touch it." Witness accounts suggest that at least one unknown craft and possibly others passed directly over Phoenix and penetrated through Sky Harbor airspace, before drifting off to the south towards Tucson. At least one air traffic controller at Sky Harbor Airport admitted in a televised news interview that he saw the lights from the tower using binoculars, but did not see anything on radar. ************************************************ The UFO topic is off limits and the Media and politicians are told not to discuss them or report the truth about them. My question is why? |

This is the same governor who spoofed the entire incident after thousands of people demanded an explanation about the incident.
Now he has "come out" and has acknowledged that he has seen a UFO. He says that he tried to investigate it behind the scenes and he got nothing from the government. Good for you governor! Aliens and UFO's are real! The government is covering it up and telling the press not to report it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMfEV5qATrY |

Political correctness is hog wash and should be outlawed.

Governor of Arizona makes a startling reversal, and admits to seeing the huge craft.

Political correctness is hog wash and should be outlawed. Repressing investigations and reporting of alien activity and UFOs has nothing to do with "political correctness." It is simply a cover-up. |

Witnesses say that a yellow or orange orb showed up first.
From reading "Hunt for the Skinwalker" I believe that the yellow orb is the entry door from another dimension where the craft come from. |

I don't "discount" the possibility of UFOs (after all, anything that flies and is unknown qualifies....right?) but the military has worked on secret aircraft for years. It is mindless to think, however, that in a universe so vast that we are the only carbon based, or intellegent beings within it, is beyond logic. Beam me up Scottie! |

It is mindless to think, however, that in a universe so vast that we are the only carbon based, or intellegent beings within it, is beyond logic. Beam me up Scottie! The military has reverse engineered captured alien craft. But the military's "secret" projects are not the explanation for legitimate sightings. The logic in that is if the craft is "so secret" then why would they hoover where thousands of people could see it then rush to cover it up with flares and lame explanations about what it was? That does not make any sense. |

I have no real problem with believing that aliens exist, and that some people have seen some real alien space craft. It happens often enough!
My main complaint is threats that come from some unknown agency (people assume it is the government) to not talk about it, and to not print stories about it. Who the hell are they and what gives them the right to threaten and/or ridicule people or tell them that their jobs and careers will be on the line if they say anything. Who are they and what right do they have to do that and more importantly why are they doing it? It really pisses me off. A local farm paper in a small town in Colorado received serious threats to his business and family if he continued to report cattle mutilations in the area. At first he refused, but the threats got really specific and scary and so he quit printing the news reports. So don't anyone ever tell me that there is not someone controling our Media, or that they don't use fear and intimidation and threats to do so. |

Cover up or political correctness, it's all the same stupid thinking of the liberals. Please, would you be a bit more clear? I don't know if you are saying that political correctness and the cover up of aliens and UFO's are related or the same thing... or if you are saying that stupid thinking liberals are the cause of both. or if you are saying that only stupid thinking liberals think about these things. |

I am more inclined to think it was military. Of course you are. But the question is, why would the military create such a stir and reveal a top secret craft to thousands of people and then have to go to work shooting off flares and trying to convince people all they saw were flares? The flares were debunked. And why was the Governor completely stonewalled when he tried to get the government to investigate ? |

logical (largely agreed upon) possibilities
and illogical (not fitting into what we currently understand) possibilities the ones deemed 'illogical' are always ridiculed, its hard for men to fathom anything greater, bigger, or wiser than them that doesnt behave the way they would expect them to or show themself to them personally,,,,, I can totally relate to those feeling 'ridiculed' for such an 'illogical' belief,, |

the "u" in "ufo" is for "unidentified" meaning no clue what it is INCLUDING an object from anywhere.

The Official Secrets Acts of Countries are designed to keep people ignorant.
If we are not told the truth then we speculate. Keep the bewildered herd occupied by fighting among themselves. There is an elite. |

the "u" in "ufo" is for "unidentified" meaning no clue what it is INCLUDING an object from anywhere. That is true, and some of those "unidentified" objects are alien space ships. Some are probably just toys or weather ballons or swamp gas. But swamp gas does not mutilate cows or abduct people and do anal probing. |
