Can you find a nice lady in the bar sean. or do they just go there for fun and blow off guys there cuse there trouble. are guys you find in the bar trouble or would a lady think she could find a nice guy there

i was just wondering if there was a Stereo type for that kinda place

I don’t go to bars/pubs that are known ‘pick up joints’. The types of places that I go to, people tend to go there to chill, enjoy the ambiance and catch up with friends. In these places, there’s an unspoken rule along the lines of...general chit chat and light hearted flirting is fine but anything else is out.

Bottom line is that I don’t know the answer to your question. All I do know is that if I was ‘picked up’ in a bar, he would probably have an invisible door, gently but firmly closed in his face because in my mind, there would be an irrational trust issue.

I know that it’s irrational because there’s absolutely no difference between a bar guy and an internet guy. Both are capable of betraying trust through lying, cheating etc.

I don’t know why I’m more open to meeting guys online than I am through traditional dating...maybe it’s because I can take my time getting to know someone. Maybe it’s the anonymity thing. Maybe it’s the brain teaser thing – you have to build an image of the person based on what’s being typed to you...IDK
