me as a kid would be laughing and crying at the same time, while loading a bullet in the chamber and holding out the gun for me now to take and use. what the ***** has happened!!!!??? i'm done trying to deal with it.

My young self would find me funny,,cool to be with and I am sure,,ask me right away,,IF he could come and live with me..  I knew me then,,and I know me then BETTER, NOW! As for who I turned out to be,,he would know my reasons to have been so strong a father to mine and why I turned out with so much more,,than what he knew was always being taken away from.. Damn,,,I really MISS, a LITTLE ME NOW,,,,, Go splash in rain puddles at once Terry! (said in her somewhat authoritative voice ... hard to take me seriously when I am smiling all the time isn't it???)

The closet paid off! No, not the closet you guys are thinking of. I hid from everyone in my closet creating my own world. so are we talking a broom closet at the top of the stairs, a linen closet with a bunch of shelves to work around or a big walk in closet full of stilettos? ... no wait ... that last one was for me ... Oh brother, can't a guy have a closet all to himself? my bad

It is interesting to contemplate ... Probably ask me why I am not a veterinarian like I wanted, why'd I become an engineer. But would understand after thinking about it. I think he would say "I'm proud of you"

She'd be amazed...and very happy...that we made it. And, that I finally remembered....and survived the memory. She'd be smiling and full of love for you!

It is interesting to contemplate ... I think he would be happy and grateful that the creativity somehow survived, and very sad about the rest of it. I think he'd be thrilled that his imagination is alive and well

No way. I am not touching this ? at all....... What? No hello???  You know I love you. This question though.....it's a harsh one. It is your choice to contemplate along or not as you wish ... It doesn't have to be harsh ... it can be a time to be gentle and accepting of self Perhaps a younger you would think "You have lived a unique experience and may just be an inspiration to someone else in the world at a time they need it." Thank YOU for choosing to see it in a different light!

He would ask me.."When the hell are you ever gonna grow up?" But, he would be glad to know could look forward to being a mouthy, narccisstic prick with hair, a convertable and a big pecker. He would also be happy to know that our family is still the coolest and he will eventually get lucky enough to hook up with a smoking hot Mingle chick. What if he said thank gawd you never did!

I liked this post. It got me to thinking about my childhood, which really wasn't that bad I think the child would not be afraid of her future seeing herself and/or future  I love that!

It is :-) I think she would be amazed we grew up at all. I never dreamed as a child that next month on the 5th, I would have lived to see 41. My life was full of so much tragedy as a child and teenager. I just want to live to see 42 as it's a Hitch Hiker's reference but beyond that, never thought it through. I am most proud that I never did drugs though surrounded by them constantly and that I never got pregnant or had an abortion. I think she would be proud of all that you are and all that you are becoming
