massage i think people react that way to be at peace, and let the justice system work, but this is why i feel the way i do because the system doesnt work, the criminal seems to have more rights then the victim, and there family.!!!!!!

This is not what my friends have said.
I did time in an Asian jail in Malaysia. For being an illegal immigrant. Not for very long, but long enough to realise that there are some issues that we take for granted, even in encarceration, that on the outside seem trivial |

lol when you do a crime you lose your freedom and if you are guilty, you ARE lower class lol. I mean seriously, do you treat someone who has never been in trouble the same way you treat some felon who could care less if he slits your throat and die? BS they are lower and thats just the way it is. They dont follow the rules put forward by society.

There is less crime in countries like Saudi Arabia. There, if you are caught even stealing, they cut off your hand. Point blank!! And everyone knows you are a thief etc because one hand is used to eat and the other is used to wipe your a**!! You are then shunned from society.
There is less crime there.....go figure... |

With regards to prisoners. I feel that alot of you are way off the mark. Have you ever been inside a prison? Do you have a family member or a close friend in prison. If you answered NO, then you don't really understand our criminal justice system, because believe it or not your name is bound to come up. As a paralegal, and legal researcher, there are approximately 3.7 million "index crimes" commited each year, and of that 3.7 million. There are approximately 135,000 WRONGFUL CONVICTION EACH YEAR, according to a U.S. Department of Justice publication, under Sage Publications. In 1981, when they began keeping track from all 50 State Attorney General's Offices nationwide, whom obtained there data from Sheriff Departments, Municipal Police Departments, Local Law Enforcement, and the U.S. Government "think tank" called the Rand Corporation -- prisons are a business and like all businesses they need customers/clients/prisoners to survive. It is a multi-trillion dollar a year industry. Whereelse can you produce weapons of "mass-destruction" legally in the U.S., besides prisons, at $0.25 per hour versus paying a defense contractor employee $19.00 per hour and they only have to build one per week, whereas, the prisoners have to build at a minimum of three (3_ per day.
I know about prisons, and know of the injustices that have lead to people being incarcerated, and the underhanded tactics utilized by governments (State and Federal) to hand down these harsh sentences. My work with prisoners was criticized by some, but welcomed by many -- I came through, read their transcripts (Guilty Pleas or Trial and Sentencing) and found errors sufficient to warrant a new re-sentencing hearing, and new trials. I have a 65% success rate, and am very good... attorneys across the country are familiar with my work. So for those of you who think that all prisoners should be shot and killed, I don't. Granted some need to be locked up, but killing someone for their having committed a crime -- will you think this way when you are sitting in prison falsely accused of a crime? I don't think so... come back to the real world. Former Chief Justice Warren Burger, once stated that "prisons are factories with fences", and he was right. So be awful careful that your next job is not building a nuclear warhead guiding system for $0.25 per hour, and if you have to pay a fine or child support that comes out of your measly $64.00 follar a month check... now do you still feel this way? And, for those of you who have said "they should go to war, hell they build the weapons of mass destruction used in the Irag war.. |

I dont know one single person that has followed "the rules" of life.. I kno tons of people that have been drunk and driven so many times its amazing they never got caught, or killed someone.. come on u kno people that do things that are against the law.. and u think <shrug> it isnt no biggy.. its just_________ but its illegal all the same, they just havent been caught. Just cause they havent been caught doesnt make them innocent..

So are you saying that you do follow the rules of our society? Every one? You are welcome to your own prejudices, but I have had acquaintances (briefly) who were convicted of violent crimes. They were just like you - they believed that retribution was righteous. |

I mean my right leg is peeling and my left leg isnt.. flaw? lolllll
|
|
|

Of course as humans we all make mistakes but sorry, I do not consider murder a mistake lol. Sure, I understand what you mean by ALL the rules but you should know what I mean by the kind of rules I am talking about. Most people in this country dont go around committing felonies all day long.

To: sincereman51,
As a broker as you call yourself. Surely, you are aware that the SmithBarney, KidderPeabody and other major brokerage houses owns General Dynamics, whom contract prisoners to build weapons of mass destruction under the cover of some small unheard of stocks, bonds, and other products; note also that SmithBarney and KidderPeabody also owns NBC, and therefore, have direct control over the "fourth estate"(media), and like any business they need to generate "cash flow", whether it is cheap prison labor, weapons of mass destruction, or 'slanted media reports".. you should be a smart man, can should have figured this **** out a long time ago... go do your research before you bad mouth prisoners who keep you alive... this just shows you ignornace of the world in which you live... its all public knowledge if you look it up. |
