There were 3.4 million job openings on the last business day of September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.



Both the number of unemployed persons (13.9 million) and the
unemployment rate (9.0 percent) changed little over the month.

that means 3/4 of those unemployed will have to find work through the 'networks' (Word of mouth) they are a part of, if they are fortunate enough to be a part of such a network
