"legalize freedom". now there's a sound bite that many americans can and will actually sink their teeth into. as p.t. barnum once quipped, "nobody ever lost a dime betting against the intelligence of the american public" and my guess that ron paul learned the lesson well. might even work this time.

It's funny how NONE of the other candidates, on either side, ever speak of Freedom, Constitutionality, the rule of law, or Liberty.

Oh sure, they talk of cutting spending, but they want to cut it from SS, Medicade, Medicare, Vets benefits..... NOT GOV'T!

They only want to cut from the peoples benefits (which they don't share in) so the gov't can spend more at the whim of the rich lobbyists, and the corporations and bankers who support them.

What we have had is the continual "more of the same", and on and on, getting worse with each new mouthpiece the media sells us!

Maybe RP isn't perfect, no one is, but I like my chances better with a man of integrity at the helm, who is unwavering in his fight against enslavement to gov't of the "common" person.

Change for the better IS what we will get with RP! We got change with Obummer all right! We were totally sold out, in the open (not in secrecy like with the shrub crew), to the banks and corporations! Just look at his cabinet members, Wall Streeters, bankers, lawyers and corporate CEO's!

At the very least, we will get a shake-up of the system of gov't that has enslaved us to these thieves and liars! This can't be a bad thing!

I, for one, finally have a hope that change may be in our future! We have had a message for years saying our "harddrive is in eminent danger of failing! Please backup all your nessessary files NOW, and replace your harddrive!" Instead, we have flooded it with more info, more programs, spent more money on "fixes", or just ignored it, and now we are losing EVERYTHING! Our freedoms, our money, our homes, our jobs! How stupid will we continue to be?

I guess the Primaries, and the 2012 election, will tell us!

I hope we have had ENOUGH!

His integrity is what made he look at him and start paying attention. Your right SS, no one is perfect, but when I compare RP to the rest of the field, both rep and dem, he is the only one who wants to fix this mess by making real cuts with an axe, not simply a butter knife. As you said, the primaries will tell us. It will be interesting to see how it goes.

RP 2012!!!

I feel pretty 'free' as a citizen, to be honest. Everyone has their candidates and their reasons, and few have personally met them or personally know them

We know what we read, and we go buy our gut, and come up with the best we can. There is no candidate without 'dirt' or 'connections' to things and people that can make them popular or unpopular.

I will just be glad when the government starts to work together for the country, instead of pitting against each other in party affiliations and holding up opportunities for progress with their usual 'us vs them' politics.

I think its awesome and the Patriot Act limiting the people's freedoms and increasing the governments scope should be repealed.....
