if you are breathing, and/ or noticed the same thing as on my post about average being an extra 50 pounds.

Most of the ones I've encountered say they are architects, engineers or doctors but can't spell simple words.

They are typically 1-line profiles with 3-4 interests. 'No Answer' for the other fields.

Although, I've noticed them getting better about fleshing out their profiles lately. Usually a simple question like what kind of engineering do you do gets and answer like 'all kinds'... yeah right ...

And the comments of others here - photos not matching the description, photos of celebrities, etc. are pretty common tells.

They send friend requests without any communication first. They want to go straight to yahoo messenger. If you IM, there is an obvious delay in response - they are either translating ... or looking up an answer.

They really are pretty easy to spot ...

When they are caught most will run and block. I've had one open up to me about it. How it worked. His brothers and sisters who were involved in it too. The scripts. The people that ran it. For them it was just a job in a country without opportunity. There are thousands of them and it must be working or they wouldn't continue to do it. It is up to individuals to be saavy...to listen to their 'guts'...to not ignore when things don't make sense...because as long as people fall for the scams, they'll just keep running them.
