Topic: Is Cain the Anti-Christ? Evidence to Consider...

I saw some of this posted on the internet....interesting?

I was contemplating Herman Cain's 999 Plan which is a 9% tax on business, a flat 9% personal tax and a 9% sales tax. All other current federal taxes would be abolished under Cain's plan. Anyway, I was expressing my admiration for the Cain plan by repeatedly doodling hearts and writing "Cain" and the number "999" in Magic Marker all over my notebooks. Then it happened...I glanced at a notebook upside down, and I realized that I had written "666" multiple times. I felt tricked! 666 is one of the most widely recognized symbols for the Antichrist.

I needn't mention that a brother named "Cain" makes an early and unpleasant appearance in the Bible. Cain murdered his brother Abel. Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?"
"I know not," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
Then He said, "What have you done? Your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground! So now you are cursed from the ground that opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood you have shed."

An early Mormon leader, David W. Patten, encountered a very tall, hairy, dark-skinned man in Tennessee who said that he was Cain. The account states that Cain's mission was to destroy the souls of men. The recollection of Patten's story is quoted in Spencer W. Kimball's The Miracle of Forgiveness, a popular book within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This widespread Mormon belief is further emphasized by an account from Salt Lake City in 1963 which stated that "This account is based on the old Mormon belief that Cain is a black man who wanders the earth...."

I just wonder why he never thought about it....that people would turn his "999 plan" upside down and get the 666.

He or his staffers should have thought about that.

Its par for the course, he probably hopes voters are smarter than that.

Kind of like the risk of birthers upon learning OBama had a dad from Kenya, politicians make those gambles between public intelligence and public propoganda all the time,,,

I really had you pegged for a person who wouldn't buy into that superstitious gobbledygook. Heck, you can find that garbage anywhere, especially in fairy tales. To each their own though bigsmile bigsmile

Yep...

But a few years ago this label was applied also to the current President.

Why would one charge an innocent man with an ancient crime simply because of a name-label that was more than likely ASSUMED by his recent ancestors to wipe away the taint of an unjust society.

The fact that Cain worked for the FED Reserve, is proud of it, and didn't feel a private cartel the controls our money SHOULD be audited (and when it was 16 Trillion dollars in bailouts with over 1/3 going to foreign banks....some partially owned by foreign dictators like Ghadafi....)..... reason enough for me to fear this man has any chance as our leader! noway frustrated

His color is more than skin pigment..... it's his "chit" level!

Articles like this are a dime a dozen on the

internet.....all Pure nonsense.......

IF the author of this article had taken

the time to

read the bible in the first place,

he would have clearly seen that the

Anti_Christ can't even come on the scene yet, until

certain prophesied

biblical events take place FIRST .

I agree with MsHarmony. Of course they thought of it, and they also immediately dismissed it. The fraction of the populace that is so dumb and so superstitious is small enough to be ignored, while 9 has a nice 'singled digit' feel to it.

I never said I believed it. I just found it humorous since, in the last presidential election, there were internet postings that Obama was the Anti-Christ. Too funny!
