Joe Biden for President in 2016? It's not out of the question.
The vice president and former Delaware senatorleft open the possibility for an upcoming run, telling CNN he'll "make up my mind on that later."
"We'll find out," he added in the interview, which is set to air Sunday.
"You know let's get the president reelected."The69-year-old fueled further speculation by saying "I'm in one of the, probably the best shape I've been in my life. I'm doing pretty well. I'm enjoying what I'm doing, and as long as I do, I'm going to continue to do it."
He acknowledged President Obama 's re-election in 2012 is going be an uphill battle.
"This is going to be a tough election. The country has inherited very difficult political and economic times. Why wouldn't it be tough?" before adding he thinks the President will win.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton 's name has also been floated as a possibility for 2016, although she has continually shot reports down.
"I have done the best I can. But now I want to try some other things. I want to get back to writing and maybe someteaching, working on women and girls aroundthe world," she told NBC 's "Today" earlier this week.
But she isn't necessarily leaving politics altogether, insisting people will have to "just watch and wait" for her decision on the 2016 race.
