I'll have to agree with massagetrade. Basically, my family drives me nuts and as soon as they meet a significant other or friend...*sigh* well I just never hear the end of it.
My parents STILL try to talk to me about my ex from HIGH SCHOOL.  So yeah, when it happens, it happens, why is there a need for an appointment?

Took my last ex 2 months. But I realised she was fake, you can really find out who a person truely is gonna be around you when you're around your fam. maybe it's just me..

Michele since it is adult family members then I would introduce him as soon as I am sure I like hanging out with him. It is always nice to get others opinions and share in the fun. You can learn a lot by other methods that people use in getting to know someone. Have a blast and enjoy, you could end up just being friends and still hanging out.

I say feel him out. If he has expressed interest in meeting my family and or my son I would feel he was ready. or if there is a family function coming up or a holiday. I guess it really depends on the relationship and where it's headed. I don't think there is a specific timeframe.

Just introduce him as a friend and nobody will think anything of it at all.

My boy is 6 1/2. No one comes into his life until I am sure they will be around as a forever friend or more. I made that mistake and learned from it. I am thinking way too ahead of myself with holidays in September. I know he does not have anyone in town and you know I don't like anyone spending the holidays alone. Massage-You know me too well. Lake-Have I told you the D's Shrub/Shmeg story yet. IM me for it.  M
