I know this one is a little off beat....my grandmother is 92 and has Alzheimer's and knows she is losing it. She has been praying for something to take her out because she wants to go before her mind is completely gone and she wants to be with her true love, my grandfather who courted her by letters, her brother's best friend, and built her a house in CA, and proposed by mail and came back to Kansas and married her and swept her off her feet and brought her out here. They had five children. She lived in the house over 70 years. Anyway, the whole thing is very romantic and she was wanted to be with him since he died in the 80s but she is a religious woman. Her name is Sibyl and his name is Ivan. Well, she has a DNR and she got diagnosed with a swift moving breast cancer this weekend. So I ask not for a prayer of healing but that god's will be done whatever that may be and that if she passes that it be as quick and cleanly as possible so she can be in the loving arms of my grandfather in heaven.

She is not afraid but my family of course is extremely stressed. I am trying not to be afraid as I was more afraid of her losing her mind honestly. Though cancer is a horrible way to die and I was hoping for something quicker but alas I am not god and do not get to make such decisions...

So if you could just pray for my parents who take care of her to have peace and strength, and god's will whatever that may be and that if it is to take her life that it be swift...I'd appreciate....

my grandfather died when i was 2yrs old
and he knew he was going to die
and he ask my grandmother to go with him
she told him she wasent ready
grandpa had emphazema, cancer but what killed him was a heartattch
my grandparents were married over 45yrs
grandma was 13yrs old when she married him
he was 32 and she was his 3wife
she was a step mother of 5 kids around her own age
beyond that she had 16kids of her own and the last were the twins
the week he had died my little cousin was only a few weeks old
and he died
we belive that he wanted someone with him
and he choice my cousin
the day that my cousin had died
my older sister remember seeing grandpa spirit in the room smiling
i didnt find out untill several yrs ago
that there funeral was on the same day
whats strange is no one has been able to find my little cousin headstone

Prayers are being sent to you, you family and to God for her passing to be swift and painless. A couple of years ago, my mother was diagnosed with cancer, she passed only 12 days later. May your Grandmother have the same Mercy!

This post has brought me to tears. I am so sorry, for your grandmother. I also went through breast cancer, and cannot imagine going through it at her age. God have mercy, and reunite her with her love, painlessly.
