Good Morning Vivian and Joe. I knew I would wake up early even though I could sleep in. Sorry about your misery Joe. We don't have fire ants here. Sounds like a good reason to stay in PA I'll send you some! You can keep them in your yard for home defense!

Seriously, I have been bitten so many times I just ignore them now and it stops itching in a week or so. Sometimes I ignore them while they are biting me (which is what happened this time) and get rid of them after I stop whatever I am doing. I know, that is not very smart, but they will interrupt you endlessly if they get a chance.

Howdy all, I'm pleased to say that we dont do "fire-ants" in NZ. I understand they are ants, but whats with the fire? I can't visualise ants dragging cans of gas around. and playing with matches! Well actually I can, & it aint a pretty sight.
