I know all about a functioning LDR. My guy lives in Houston and I've made the trip out there 3 times this year and will be out there again in November. He's been here twice and we plan on one of us moving next year (probably me)

Oooooooooohhhh baby!

I am so happy for you two. : ) I had to get Vonage. LOL. Sigh. I suppose eventually I will have to break down and buy a real cell phone again to text from. boogers. I hate texting but Tophat8 likes texts. I was such the cell phone rebel. I actually threw a brand new Blackberry in the trash after my divorce and declared "I want a phone that is a phone and a GPS that is is a GPS and a camera that is a camera!" but now I am being forced to rethink my logic. I still refuse to get an iPhone. I have my principles. Darn it!! iPhones can be compromised as the ex wife of a Linux nut and open source god, I just can't go there. I just can't. You can drag the open source ex-wife into Radio Shack but you can't drag her into ATT. Plus I need my int'l plan dang it. And I was quite the anti-plane rebel and now I have to go to LAX. MAN!! I hate LAX. They are very against everything I stand for. And Canada. I am an avid South Park fan. I cannot go around singing "Blame Canada" from "Bigger, Better, Uncut". I may be shot if I do so. Or talking about how Canadians all look like Ike. I cannot refer to Canada as "our attic to the north "as he counters with, "no you are our basement to the south and the basement needs work" and I cannot argue because they have superior health care. I saw the documentaries. MAN. He wins not far. And then he ruthlessly teases me because I am in southern CA "if the electric fence is up yet". How do you defend American politics to a Canadian?? "Ya ya ya well, you are kind of sort of British". That's not a good come back. I do not have any good come backs for "why do you need the right to own and Uzi"..........."because......I am American and I can..people died for my right to own an Uzi and if you disagree come down here".
