i had a woman offer to pay and i wouldn't let her. in hind sight i know that i should have let her. i think she was offended that i wouldn't let her pay.

The most likely time I'll pay, entirely, for both of us is when I know that she is just being nice to me and compromising on her interests.

Like the time I really, really wanted to go ice skating and my partner really wanted to do something, but was afraid of ice skating. She's already doing me a favor by going with me; she wanted to pay her half but that made no sense whatsover to me, since she didn't even want to go ice skating at first.

(She ended up loving it, and was glad to have challenged her boundaries).

And thats bad? I mean... aren't there like millions of women out there who never pay? Are they 'moochers off men' - and do we look at this equally?
