Topic: You're on a date when suddenly... | |

This has never happened to me but if the breakup was amicable, I would say 'hi' but not stop to chat.
If my current b/f asked who 'he' was, I would tell him. If he didn't then I wouldn't. |

Depends on the ex. Probably just hi and move on. If it was one of the screwy ex, just ignore him

you bump into an ex. What do you do? I get along with my ex's, so I'd just say "hi. How's it going?", chat a bit and move on. |

LOL sorry evil thoughts... but how about... "Oh hi..I went to the clinic and got checked and well umm ..you should probably go in too. Have a nice dinner"

Probably make a serious double take since my Ex is passed away. lol One of the few benfits of being widowed.
While the "clinic" remark made me laugh if your Ex was a loser I think the best thing is to just do your best to rise above gracefully and go on and have the best possible revenge a pleasant date and hopefully great relationwhip. My experience is Ex's tend to make even the best folks uncomfortable so if at all possible that is something I would avoid acknowledgeing about them if at all possible. If not be as breif and distant as possible. Even if I had to leave I would to avoid a confrontation. Nobody wins in those situations. |
