Are you theist or atheist?
what is the logic behind your being theist/atheist?
Or simply a strong faith? flowerforyou
(Faith itself is a big issue; without faith even medicine doesn't work.)

I am an atheist, by which I mean I lack a belief in any particular concept of a God. I do not 'disbelieve' in all Gods, but most Gods seem rather silly and very, very, unlikely to me.

I lack this belief because I see no tangible reason to have a belief.

This is false. We can administer antibiotics to a person without them being aware of it, and observe these antibiotics having an effect on their infection.

I believe that faith can be helpful with healing. Obviously faith can motivate people to see doctors, can motivate them to take medicine, can motivate them to take care of themselves better.

There is a subtler way that faith can influence healing, (which is not to say provide a cure), by slightly influencing our body's chemistry.

There is no god or gods to have faith in but I do have faith in myself and some people.

I've found that there's no need to have faith in god/gods to live a good life. Faith in people is much more important.

I'm fully a theist. I have felt the hand of God hold me keeping me alive, I feel the blessings from God with every bit of my existence.

not theist, not atheist. won't even put a label on what i am as few can agree on definitions of labels. i do think that the human mind is incapable of knowing the existance of gods, the afterlife or other supernatural phenomena. that morals and ethics are derived out of simple common sense. that questions regarding the beginnings of the universe and the ascension of the species can best be explained, if that is even possible, by the scientific method. faith has no bearing on my thinking. i believe nothing. question everything. lable me as you choose.
