Yeah and they are to control the populace. They don't give a crap about you, wake up. If they did, they'd follow their own damn health laws, but they don't. They are hypocrites and bullies, nothing more.

I am so sick of big government being in our lives like this, it's long past time they go away.

and another one!

Man found butchering cow in Utah driveway

OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Authorities are considering charges after a Utah man was found butchering a cow in his driveway.

The Standard-Examiner of Ogden reports (http://bit.ly/nCa1an ) that authorities received a call Sunday afternoon from an Ogden resident who reported a neighbor cutting up a cow in his driveway. The caller told authorities they heard what sounded like a gunshot shortly before the butchering began.

Police say when officers arrived, the man was removing the cow's head. He denied shooting the animal, and told the officers it had been delivered dead.

Prosecutors are now reviewing the case for potential charges, including possible health code violations.

And of course, this one had to start with someone being the tattletale. It's like "Teacher teacher, he's doing something wrongggggggggg"."

This is why we have such a messed up country and world, we have a system in place that controls us in just about every possible way, and teaches others by extension to uphold said system so that they can keep that control.

Yet we're supposedly free? Ha! Don't make me laugh.

sorry, I kind of want to know if a neighbor hears a gunshot , it just might be useful information for me to have in regards to protecting my own home, or potential and nearby risk,,,

Why couldn't he have done it in his backyard?

Be quite an uncleanable mess, either on Grass or Soil!
On the Concrete you can use the Hose and wash it all down!
Not so on Grass or Soil!

For arguments sake, he could have done it in back as much as in front though I'd tend to think. Still don't like it though, this type of thing just adds to the issue of big government in our lives.

Everybody's screaming about rights..!? Unfortunately, the judge is probably more concerned with the rights of any child being encouraged to drink unpasteurized milk, which certainly isn't safe. What happens to the child's rights when the parent is selfishly busily fighting the judge? Doesn't the parent have a legal & moral duty of care towards his offspring? Cows carry bacteria which can easily be ingested. If the milk isn't pasteurized or sterilized then it becomes an issue. The judge isn't claiming they can't eat any vegetables grown on their property... Having one cow - who cares? Having a farm yard full of them kinda moves the goal posts & different rules apply. These rules are there to protect the individual, usually from themselves & their own ignorance!!! :P

I'm more concerned with Michael Jackson's doctor who's now going through a trial to determine if he's guilty of negligence in the demise of Mr. Jackson. From watching some of the medical testimony from two medical professionals, one a heart specialist, all I'm seeing is the physician is getting his *** kicked & looking more guilty by the minute. He's hanging on by his fingernails... And I thought I had problems!? :P

American's do have the right to eat what they want provided that it's not carrying bugs, bacteria, parasites or any organisms injurious to human health. Quantity or volume should not be determined by the court. If you want to eat cornflakes until they're popping out your ears - that's your look out. There are too many complex issues surrounding food... strange how they never have such a problem in those starving parts of Africa. :(

I don't know about this story, were the farmers trying to pull something and were selling the milk? Were they going around FDA regulations? Were they trying to sell a product and not pay taxes? This doesn't sound so cut and dry to me.

Its A cow for personal use!

No it isn't, it's many cows (plural). We just don't know the exact number. What if it was 150 cows? "Personal use"?

Yeah, it is! Its several single families who have boarded their cows on a single farm. If you read the whole thing which obviously you did not you would see that the suit is saying that each family has a right to consume milk from their cow singular meaning one.

If I want to cultivate maggots for myself to consume who is the government to tell me I can't? This is not about a legitimate dairy farm but rather a few families who each bought a cow and need a place to keep them. Its perfectly acceptable for Monsanto to engineer food that is nowhere near its original organic state but god damn you if you want to drink milk that hasn't been boiled to death.

We don't have the right to consume our own grown stuff that has the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients the FDA makes sure is killed off before it gets to us.

I've drank unpasteurized milk many times growing up and didn't kill me. The government just feel compelled to control every aspect of your life and your ok with that that's your call, I am not ok with it.

It was just in the last 40 some-odd years that the Gov. started controlling what we consume.
I fetched water from the well at my Grandma's house.
Gathered the eggs and helped milk the cow. I even learned how to strain the milk through cheesecloth and how much butter fat to skim off to make the butter.
Folks were much healthier then than now. And less dependent on BB who has the youngsters brainwashed.

FYI;
Whenever there's an ecoli outbreak, I suggest looking at who's working the plants where it came from. 10 to 1 Illegals are working them.

They have no qualms about sheiting where we eat.

This is again an issue with the Commerce clause. Wickard v. Filburn and United States v. Lopez dealt with similar issues. If you want to have cases such these overturned you will need judges like Thomas and Scalia. If the case goes to SCOTUS it is likely to appeal to the commerce clause.
