again it will depend upon what each voter interpreted by the word 'change' which issues and by what degree they expected them to change many things have changed, historical things even, under this president(DODT and Healthcare for two) but other things have not gotten better quick enough although I still believe they are better than they WOULD have been had he not taken the actions he did,,,, its all going to be , like normal, whats priority to each voter and what they REASONABLY expected to get done in one term,, I personally have on interest in DODT it doesnt affect the majority of people. Healthcare I don't see as a positive. In fact healthcare prices have gone up an average of 9% this year. I don't think its better to give free healthcare to illegals when you economy is struggling. I don't think its better to restrict the right of Hospitals owned by a church being force to oppose their religious beliefs. |

I think DODT is a big part of the move to make homosexuality more of a 'norm' which is something a large part of our population apparently seeks,,,(I am not one, but it certainly will be considered HISTORICAL legislation under this president) The economy has kind of sucked and caused many industries to raise prices, including healthcare, more than likely. I dont know that healthcare reform mandates any of those other things. I think federal funds puts business under certain federal restrictions to represent taxpayers from all walks of life and that probably holds true of hospitals operating on any FEDERAL funds. As to rising prices, I am not aware of whether reform has even been actually INSTITUTED in this past year so I dont know if costs would have anything to do with the bill. |
