damn....I missed breakfast!!! Welcome back! how was your trip???? Great! Saw some old friends, made some new ones, was lazy, productive, slept a little, stayed up late, drank a little, ate a little, hiked, enjoyed the full moon in the mountains, saw 2 mornings of frost and convinced a long time friend to go on a zip line in honor of a deceased friend, our own bucket lists and life in general! I was already dragging and the first day back at work was a B. Then did a silly thing and went out with Houston friends last night. WHAT WAS I THINKING? I'm like the walking dead tonight. Zombie apocalypse (in my mirror!) So happy to be home! But isn't it wonderful to live life the way you want to???

Howdy Joe! Howdy Howdy! I just got finished washing the siding on the house. Whew! I just finished my rocks....yard work will have to wait til I get back from Lubbock...supposed to be cooler next week I sure hope so. I was hotter than a PIG today! I was out carving a rock today...and looked at my place,,,I'm SUCH a pig....I'm ashamed of the way it looked..so I decided I'm going to get off my lazy butt and do something about it So .... you gonna buy more pigs?   my sty is too small for more than one pig.. Maybe if you found a very small one?  but small ones grow into big ones and they have babies 5-6 times a year.... Pork is mighty tasty!  I know but I only have one freezer You could go on the new "Joe's All Pork Diet!"   you think I'm FAT!!! No. Mano does. You should hurt him. He's fragile....I'd break him

Where the old sugar mill was Hwy 90 past Eldridge. Easy breezy... What time does it open? I know you have to be early to get the best goods. I used to have to try to keep up with the blue-hairs for the first tomatoes of the season! LOL! They'd RUN YOU DOWN! |

But isn't it wonderful to live life the way you want to??? Yes, Ma'am, it is! I did have an up close and personal experience in the "can't go back" theorem. You really can't...no matter what, the dynamics are different. I had a great time but it wasn't the same as it used to be and I belong here now. THAT much niggled at me the whole weekend...Texas is HOME now! Now isn't that just NICE? |
