Would someone explain copy & paste in simple words for me. Yes,you are right,you can't believe that I don't know how to do this. computers and I just don't get along.

what ya to is at the end of this sentence left click on it an drag it from right to left then it should high light then u right click on that go to copy then click that then when u go next to post something right click again an go hit paste an then u should see it again

or you could highlight whatever it is you want to copy, press ctrl+c (this is copy), then to paste it use ctrl+v :)

Hold down your mouse's left click to
highlight. Drag left or right to highlight what you want copied. Once anything is highlighted, you can right click (anywhere in the highlight) to copy it. This opens a drop-down menu with COPY on it. Click on COPY. To PASTE, click where you want the copied material to go. Then right click for the drop-down menu with PASTE on it. Click on PASTE. As ryley noted, ctrl+ 'c'= Copy (same as using the dropdown menu) and ctrl+ 'v' is for Pasting. |

one more thing
be careful when dragging and dropping sometimes it makes a copy of what you are dragging and sometimes you move the item you are dragging that's why control + c and control + v are better for novice computer users ....this little tip really helped my Mom stop losing things on her computer. |
