Well I say don't close yourself off....If you haven't met anyone local by now just by living there...chances are you may not....By closing yourself off to distance and placing restrictions...You may be bypassing the one person who is perfect for you....I say give everyone a chance and open yourself up and if they happen to live far away...I'm sure there are ways to deal with it!!!!!!!!!!

be positive. if you don't find a date, think of the many views on things you will get to hear. what the hell, life is about experiences and learning from others is one of the great opprotunities we as humans can experience.

just not sure if any women even half my age are intrested in dating any more. the only thing the so called modern women seem to care about is hooking up, even though that may be fine for a little while, there is nothing longterm in it and yes I really want something longterm. over the last several years have also found myself being a lot more ora1 than I used to be. ^_^

good luck with the internet search. widow maker man its the internet millions of losers lol...as for finding the right one its just luck and timing I think, I have only met(badspeller) a few girls that I am interested online that, just leaves a few million other girls am not interested in.
