I've been reading "right-wing" sites such as FrontPage and Pajamas Media, and "left-wing" sites such as Alternet, Media Matters and HuffPo in my spare time. The one thing that I agree on with BOTH parties is the lot of you are Nuckin Futs!

Seeing as how I don't fit in with either party, even though I was raised by a lifelong bleeding-heart liberal (mother) and a staunch opinionated republican (father), I have always managed to do the thing that most Americans fail at . . . forming my own opinion.

However, when you compare the two parties, the lefties come off FAR worse concerning falsehoods, inaccuracies, smears, hate speech and general view of reality/ethicality. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just picking on the libs, the righties have a wide array of bad marks themselves especially when it comes to doing things in excess. Shooting unarmed civilians is kinda like swatting a fly with a Buick.

This whole 2 party system has run it's course and I think we need more choices, because this world is not simply black and white, it's MANY shades of the spectrum.

But I know, the liberal and conservative muck will be flying around this post, but that's how things are in my eyes. I am not hoping you'll agree, just putting this out there is all. Do with it what you will.

I agree with you completely. The libs are by far less honest and the far right has some problems too.

There should be a balance between too much government and allowing corporations to run roughshod over common sense and common good.

Right on....I am in agreement as a child raised by a family of federal government employees......but I did listen to my eighth grade civics teacher that told me it was important to listen to both sides and make up my own mind as to truth and fabrication as we would hear both but it was our job to choose from what was available and to make the best choice we could

I think its broadly accepted that there will be AT LEAST two sides. Its good to see it in this thread.


Now, if each of the sides could dispell the notion that those other sides couldnt possibly be using logic or reason to come to their decisions,,,,we would have a good starting point..lol
