Topic: That word again...sweet. | |

OK, so I am sweet. But really, always hearing people describe you with that word over & over... There is more to me than being sweet. That has always been my nature and I like helping people and doing things to brighten someones day. But, I also have a mischievious and funny side. I also have a naughty side. It's like a cold shower to hear that when you are being naughty. I am also intelligent. That said, being sweet is rewarding. I personally think "sweet" has become overused to the point that it's less a description than it is a placeholder. Like "laid back" and "easy going" -- words used when there's a blank to be filled, but you really don't want to put in anything too committal or meaningful. Think "nice".... That's what I am saying. I think I would probably be insulted if anyone ever described me as "sweet." Not enough syllables. Let's go with "intimidating" and "complicated" and "narcissistic." haha. You want the heavy artillary! |
