So simple, any idiot aside from a democratic president would think that way. Especially if said president didn't need their vote.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) declared, "There is a surefire way to
create jobs now for American citizens: evict all illegal aliens from
America."

'BROOKS: There is a surefire way to create jobs now for American
citizens: evict all illegal aliens from America and open up millions of
jobs for American citizens. That also forces blue-collar wages up,
helping American families afford and pursue the American dream.
Unfortunately, the White House chases a different dream a nightmare
that pits unemployed Americans against illegal aliens in a competition
for scarce jobs. The DREAM Act gives amnesty for millions of illegal
aliens, thereby legitimizing illegal conduct and depriving American
citizens of job opportunities. ... Congress and the White House must
create jobs now for American citizens. We must fight for American
citizens, not illegal aliens.

Brooks previously said he would "do anything short of shooting"
undocumented immigrants until they "quit taking jobs from American
citizens

don;t blame the prez - blame the industries that hire them

I heard a ludicrous proposal this morning on NPR - something about a tax cut for small businesses and - GET THIS - (I'm not making this up)

the proponents actaully expect us to believe that they believe that small business owners will use the extra money to hire more workers HA

they must think we really are stupid

the primary beneficiaries will prolly be the local Lexus dealers and good restaurants and hookers....slaphead

And take away tax breaks for companies that ship their jobs out of the country. If they want tax breaks bring those jobs back.

I can do both.
He already said he was halting deportations.
As for small businesses, if they raise the min. wage, that will force many to downsize.

Small businesses are the backbone of this country, they employ as a whole more people than all the big corps combined.

not doubting the importance of small businesses but I do doubt that is what funds would go for.....(new jobs)

misplaced aggression, noone can 'take' jobs anymore than people can 'just get a job'

someone has to be willing to 'employ' them

the emphasis should be on the employers, take off the head and the body follows...
