Tossing some recent pictures up. Gentry had come up the other day in the afternoon and I hosed him down to cool him off. Dratted horse walked over and flopped down and rolled, right in front of me. No respect, I tell ya!

I'd scampered across the ditch figuring I could turn back around real quick and snap a photo. Gentry really wanted to emphasize the Whoo-Hoo! Fun! for me, apparently! I laughed so hard afterwards, and was pleased the photo came out!

Chance, the chestnut, is a Tennessee Walking Horse. Gentry is a Spotted Saddle Horse, though it may be that he ends up trotting rather then gaiting in the end. Unfortunately, in a lot of those photos, he was down in dips in the ground, or I was up higher. Chance is 16HH, though. Gentry is my midget horse at 14HH. I'm blaming a lot of that on neglect and not being cared for properly early on. He was 2 when I rescued him. I'm not heavily into other breeds bloodlines, but "Sonny" is popular in the local horse magazines I pick up. Lotta Quarter Horses in Texas. :-) |

Well, I would be cranky too if I had no hands. LOL! They make up for it with their lips. Chance can unhook things, especially the various types of slide locks. |
