As if unemployment was not bad enough, now we have people displaced with fires and floods. Makes me grateful to have a job and a roof over my head

Shshsh and to think I just put 9 big garbage bags of clothes in a donation box... I feel for the ones that have lost their homes I know material things can be replaced but not the ones with memories and it is not easy starting from nothing... 
I know...I can't even imagine losing everything...pictures..keepsakes...

For sure I could handle losing my home but the sentimental things within it would be the kicker.... What is so sad it is not just the fires but all those that got flooded as well or homes lost other ways... |

Yeah her mom took all her sentimental stuff to her sister's when she moved in. She lost her husband a few years ago.

Humm well I'm calling it a early evening. Got to get me some sleep. Nikki is going in at 5am in the morning..to be induced.

I just met with a friend of mine from Lampases. She said the wells were going dry, all the livestock was gone, and the grass was so dry it is simply disappearing. That is what happened in the "dust bowl". Once the soil becomes so dry it blows away, nothing will grow.
