While reflecting on my past this morning, I realized that
there is a big differnce between liking someone and having a crush on someone.

I think when you like someone, you are interested in that person as long as they are overall an attractive person AND show an interest in you as well.

Therefore, there are a lot of people I like OR have liked.

But a Crush...

...is Crazy. It defies logic and reason.

And I have had such feelings twice in my life.

A crush is when you just want you and this other person to essentially become ONE. You just want to "be with" this person in EVERY WAY! These strong feelings are persistent DESPITE this person NOT showing the same interest in you AND/OR actually being quite cruel to you.
Its like you can see all the signs but you keep driving anyway.
You know that this person doesn't have feelings for you...or at least NOT the same way you have feelings for this person; yet you persist and subject yourself to degradation and emotional pitfalls...and continue to "ask for more". Always holding onto that elusive dream of the two of you are together.

However, everyone has there limits.

And eventually you reach the limits of your patience...and you just say "F**k you!"

Now you are actually angry at this person who actually didn't do anything to you. Hopefully at this point you finally listen to your reasoning and just put that person in the past and move on to new future opportunities.

I'm dealing with a crush right now and have been for almost one year, and i'm almost at that "F**k you!" point.

(Its not anyone on jsh in case you were wondering...)

I also realize that I don't have much control over who I have these rare crushes on. Its not like I plan these things...its almost like the conditions being just right for a certain type of weather phenomena...but anyway I thought it interesting enough to share with you all this morning.

And has anyone ever had a "CRUSH" that actually worked out??

Second,, Its hard when you have feelings for someone and they are not returned in the way you would like them to be,,,

Life and love sometimes is just not fair,,, thier are no right or wrongs,, it just is sometimes,,,

We must learn through our heartaches and crushes, that in the end,, and ones hurts diminshes the true friendship can withstand the heartache,,, for life is more incredible with true friends for they will be thier for you in the end,,,

Yes a crush can be insane...I have actually had a crush and I ended up dating the guy...BUT that was in my teens...He didn't like me back until he found out I was gonna be gone for the summer and we dated for a year after!!!!!!!!

The place to get to is this: Someone that doesn't reciprocate your feelings is not worth spending the time and effort worrying about...Move on and find someone that feels the same and it will be well worth your time!!!!!!!!!

A crush is something you drink or something a Mack truck does when it runs over your foot.

Liking is something completely different and is often based on shared interests like skeet shooting, snowboarding or wearing matching hair ribbons with fleece lined undergarments...
