Have met lots of friends, and that was why I joined the site. Agree with midnight, just make lots of friends and see what happens. Maybe something will work out with one of them, let it happen naturally.

People are ALWAYS talking about distance being an issue..I would think that unless the person you fall for lives in another country or on Mars..no place is too far.

Agree Magic, if it is true love, then things will work out one way or another. One of them will be willing to relocate to the other, so on. Have seen it happen. Just takes time, planning for the finances, jobs, etc. But if it is real, then it is worth it in the long run.

yeah, Someday I hope to get there but its so frustrating to find someone and not be able to casually hang out or drop by with flowers or something. The distance won't stop me from tryin but it Stinks.

Distance IS an issue for me because I am not sure if I can travel long distances alone..and the guys I meet online don't wanna come here..even guys that live in just different parts of Alabama won't do it..lol..One guy did..he traveled 4hrs total to get to me..we had a great thing going til his mama ruined it all.

Its a good thing that his mama was that way tho because I ran into him like 3yrs later and he had become a DRUNK..and thats not something that I can OR will deal with!

Right-on LADYM,,,and I agree with ya fully,,,on MOST of your replies here. The distance thing I agree, but then again, to WHAT length of STAYING APART, that is my only thing,,,to be a long way apart for a LONG time is NOT GOOD,,,

I figure that I wont look for my match on here and instead just have fun. If I find someone, great, if not, oh well. It seems easier to find something when you arent actually looking sometimes. Well, atleast for me.

Nope I live too far out in the boonies for anyone to consider me to be anything other than a passing fancy. Plus I don't have time to work at finding someone. Sitting at the computer is time consuming!!!
