Some of the local European beers are nice! San Miguel is a popular one here. When I was young the heavy bitters were popular. greene king, Abbots ale. I used to drink light and bitter, in the proper pubs you'd get a pint mug with 3/4 of a pint of bitter and a half pint bottle of light ale Another guy on here "wellworn" was a drinker of it! |

Cool thread resurrection!
I used to like Genessee Cream Ale Drank a lot of Iron City Beer in college (yuk but effective) I can't stand BUD (tastes like dirt) We have a beer store that carries 238 different kinds of beer. They have one I would like to try called Not Your Father's Root Beer but they want $8.99 per 6-pk I like ginger beer, root beer and sarsaparilla. Can't find any sarspirilla locally tho. I'll drink some Rolling Rock every now and then. Regular stock is usually Michelob or Busch Light. |
