wich of my freedoms are you defending?

It is sad that , so often, the issue of supporting the governments decisions is confused with the issue of supporting the government or supporting the troops under the governments authority


governments make mistakes, because they consist of human beings, and it shouldnt be such an elephant in the room to discuss those mistakes,, although doing so respectfully isnt too much to ask


I support the troops, but that doesnt mean I support any and all orders they get. I dont think we belonged in Iraq, but you cant undo whats done.

now is the time to stop pointing fingers(which has sadly become the american way) and start contributing solutions,,,,

The war didn't ruin the economy. Wars usually do the opposite. Manufacturing to support troops increases. Military personnel needs increase as well.

I think most americans agree we have lost freedoms since the war on "terror" began.

What a fantasy it is to claim they are defending our freedoms.

We've lost freedoms because of the terrorists not because of our
Govts response to them.

Our military goes after Bin Laden and Al-Qaida because they are
trying to attack us. So it is true that they are defending our freedoms.

Oh and Bush is not being charged with war crimes because he did
not commit any war crimes. We don't target civilians. But the
terrorists we fight against do target civilians.

How can they defend our freedoms when we have none hardly anymore?

There's a very simple thing at work in all in this, it's called problem, reaction, solution. They create the problem, in this case 9-11, we react to it, and they provide a solution to said problem that fits in with their agendas. They have done this for years and years and years, and will continue to do it unless we wake up and stop playing their games.

seems there are now and were then no shortage of democrats in congress who are members of the bar who might have proferred war criminal charges if they thought they could make a case in court. and now the justice department, which falls under the presidency, is also run by democrats who are obvious members of the bar and able to bring charges yet they don't seem to be able to make a case either. so my guess would be that dubya hasn't been charged with war crimes simply because the many people who could possibly make such charges don't think there's enough evidence to warrant their time even though they hate the bastard and would love to see him strung up. like these easy ones.

No freedoms? Really? Thats laughable. Since when have I lost the ability to live where I want, buy what I want, work where I want, travel where I want, etc?

Let me give you a little hint, Obama doesn't hate President Bush, they maybe politically different but they are friends outside of it and are both members of a very special club. Just like Clinton and Bush Sr. becoming ver close friends and also Ford and Carter becoming best friends.

no country was convicted at nuremburg. only people. no citizen of the US, especially a former president, is subject to any jurisdiction other than the US unless extradited to a country where a crime was committed. that of course hasn't happend nor will it.

How about a right to privacy? There's so many things that are restricted anymore. Can't do this, have to subject to that, have to have this, etc etc. If this is what you think freedom is you need to have your head examined. 9-11 was a major catalyst for a lot of it too.

You're right about that, and there's a reason for it, THEY'RE ALL IN IT TOGETHER. Simple as that. The entire thing is fixed.

Personaly I think the only way america can redeem itself is to put Bush and Cheneye on trial in a nuremberg type court.
