I lived for 15 years in Houston, SW side W of Sugarland. The Galveston beach was not great so we had to drive to San Marcos and stuff. Houston drivers at that time were also more courteous. I enjoyed Houston but my home is Dallas for the foreseeable future. |

Hi, I am from Mcallen,Texas a border town in deep south Texas in the Rio Grande Valley....just like 1 hour a way from Mexcio.
We go my family and I to South Padre Island beach to keep cool in the summers ...nice retirement place here to live. |

I need a reason to move back! I do miss home, and my family, but I have made a good life here in Georgia for my son and myself since my husband was killed 2 years ago in Afghanistan, but you never know, for the right person I'd move anywhere.
