my apologies to minglers, in a much earlier thread( I cant even find it,,lol) I misquoted speaker Boehner as having stated
'The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president' this statement was actually spoken by Senator Mitch McConnell |

Either way it is a valid statement and is the view of the majority of Americans.

thats like having a family with a spouse that I dont agree with about the budget and saying my 'single most important' acheivement will be to divorce my husband
but if thats where peoples priorities truly are,, no wonder we are in the mess we are,,, |

I think in general the only way things will change is if we break out of this paradigm shift that one party is better than the other. THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME THING. There's a reason little changes except for them getting more power, it's how they designed it. It will continue that way if we don't wake up.
It frustrates the hell out of me how people wanna think: "Oh the Republicans will save us" Fools, Bush was in office for half the damn messes we're in now! That's change one can believe in? I think not. |

Im thinking of starting an 'emancipation' party that will stand for removing the have nots from the 'ownership' of the haves,,, lol,,, couldnt hurt I think with the numbers of displaced and unemployed workers,,,and the trend of allowing employers to discriminate against them Id have a pretty good base,,, |
